meet steve banus

Steve is a 36-year Teamster member and is currently serving as a Business Agent. Steve and his wife Diane have been married for 32 years and reside in Northampton PA. They have one child and two grandchildren.
His previous positions include Steward, Organizer, Trustee, Recording Secretary and Business Agent. Steve is a graduate of various union schools including Teamster IBT Leadership academy, Joint Council 53 Organizing School, and Labor Law classes. Steve, an experienced organizer and negotiator, also attended seminars on Grievance Procedures, Contract Negotiations, Workman's Compensation and New Member Orientation. Steve's panels include, Freight, Car Haul, and UPS. He is a member of the Building Trades Committee.
He also volunteers for Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), March of Dimes, National Letter Carrier's Food Drive, Meals on Wheels, Board Member for the Blind and Visually Impaired Association, and organizes the Teamster Charity Golf Tournament.
